We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Adoptions & RFP Manager to lead content development initiatives and manage the proposal generation process and company strategy for state adoptions of instructional materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, technical writing, and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role requires exceptional communication skills, an ability to manage complex projects, and experience with high-stakes content creation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, technical writing, or proposal development.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex RFP and proposal processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with RFP software (e.g., Loopio, Rfpio Responsive, etc.).
  • Experience with business analysis tools.
  • Ability to synthesize technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive content.

Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development:
    • Leads and monitors the proposal development process for RFPs to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality submissions.
    • Works closely with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for proposal responses.
    • Supports the analysis of proposal performance to help refine future improvements to products, proposals, and improve success rates.
  • RFP and Proposal Writing:
    • Manages the end-to-end proposal development process, including analyzing RFP requirements, drafting, editing, and formatting proposal content.
    • Ensures compliance with client specifications and company standards.
    • Creates and maintains reusable content, templates, and proposal materials in a central proposal library.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
    • Manages project timelines, coordinates team efforts, and evaluates proposals to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
    • Communicates effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success and support business growth.
  • Technical Quality Assurance:
    • Produces high-quality, precise documentation for internal and external audiences.
    • Reviews proposal content to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client needs.
    • Refines materials to ensure proposals are persuasive and meet high standards of quality.
