Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Test Automation, with at least 2 years of specialized experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. A strong understanding of IAM protocols and concepts, including SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, MFA, RBAC, SCIM, JWT, and session/token handling is required. Proficiency in testing and automating web, API, and mobile flows using tools such as Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI, Katalon, or similar is also necessary. Experience working with identity providers (IdPs) like Okta, Azure AD, Auth0, or custom SSO systems is essential, along with familiarity with security testing best practices and tools.

Responsibilities

The IAM Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for IAM systems, including authentication (MFA, SSO), authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), provisioning/de-provisioning, and audit logging. They will collaborate with IAM architects, security engineers, and application teams to validate end-to-end access flows, design and implement automated test scripts, perform negative, edge-case, and regression testing, support and validate integrations with third-party identity providers, conduct security validation testing for IAM-related vulnerabilities, ensure test environments accurately reflect production configurations, review and maintain traceability matrices and test documentation, and participate in Agile ceremonies. Additionally, the role involves supporting performance and load testing of login/auth flows and analyzing IAM-related metrics from logs and monitoring tools.
