Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and have a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, specifically within the transmission industry. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multi-discipline projects and work with diverse stakeholders. Experience with regulatory approvals and permitting processes is also essential.
The Project Manager, Transmission will oversee all phases of approved transmission projects, from engineering and design to construction and commissioning, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. They will coordinate regulatory approvals, manage bid documents, oversee procurement, and collaborate with Eversource Energy Delivery personnel, Legal, Regulatory Relations, Purchasing, Communications, and other relevant business functions. The role involves managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and change control methodologies, as well as developing comprehensive project plans and managing cross-functional project teams.
