Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, along with 3+ years of project management experience, specifically in defense contracting and military ground vehicles. Experience with Humvees or similar ground combat vehicles is highly preferred. A strong knowledge of DOD regulations and military vehicle standards is essential, along with excellent communication and leadership skills. Candidates should also be eligible for or possess a Secret clearance, and PMP certification is preferred but not required.
The Project Manager will lead and manage multiple projects focused on military ground vehicle development, integration, and maintenance. They will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with DOD regulations. The manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the customer, internal teams, and subcontractors, while providing regular project updates and reports to senior leadership and the client. Additionally, they will manage risk mitigation strategies, ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety compliance.
