Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have proven project management experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, preferably within the translation or localization industry. A strong understanding of the translation industry, including its technology, processes, and competitive landscape, is essential. Demonstrated success in managing large accounts or projects, experience in financial management and budget control, and excellent customer relationship management and business development skills are required. The ability to travel for work-related commitments is also necessary, along with strong organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and closure of client projects. This includes gathering and validating client requirements, identifying and engaging stakeholders to resource projects appropriately, and performing risk analysis and contingency planning. The role involves leading internal and external teams, creating schedules, monitoring delivery timeliness, managing budgets, and controlling project costs. Building and nurturing relationships with clients, internal teams, and external suppliers is key, as is overseeing project activities and resolving any arising problems. The Project Manager will also focus on optimizing delivery, client satisfaction, quality, and profitability, reporting project status and financials to stakeholders, maintaining accurate finance systems, documenting processes, and managing project profit margins.
