Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree or higher, a minimum of 3 years of experience in localization project management and language quality assurance, and fluency in reading and writing in another language other than English. Experience in Marketing and/or web content localization is preferred, and Project Management or Localization Certifications are a plus. Comfort with ambiguity and skilled problem-solving abilities are also required, along with experience managing complex multilingual content projects across multiple vendors and familiarity with translation management system technologies.
The Marketing Localization Specialist will lead simultaneous localization projects across multiple languages, managing priorities and resources to meet aggressive deadlines, including requirements gathering, planning, budgeting, execution, quality checking, and maintenance of translation assets. They will independently manage all vendor relationships, selecting appropriate localization vendors, handling project initiation, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role involves tracking and documenting localization projects, overseeing linguistic QA cycles, diagnosing issues, and executing remediation measures, as well as building strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and language service providers. Additionally, the Specialist will ensure new translated content is added to marketing platforms regularly, maintain and update translation assets, and take ownership of assigned translation projects through all phases, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
