Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required; preferred)
Five (5) years of related experience (required; five or more years preferred)
Intermediate Computer Skills

General understanding and experience in at least one discipline (e.g. analog, digital, mechanical, software, PCB, test) of electronic product development
General understanding of the product development and product realization processes

Ability to handle demanding schedules including travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

Support the customer development process in winning new business and develop repeat business with previous/current customers
Proactively identify work packages or opportunities for work-sharing and collaborate with Mgr - Engineering to promote inter-design center project staffing while balancing project, customer, and employee needs
Manage customers’ expectations regarding project challenges, scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and changes to the original proposal
Manage projects to successful financial execution with 100% conversion goal, utilizing Plexus business systems to project revenue for active projects and opportunities
Effectively manage team resources and lead the program to successful execution, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and third-party suppliers to introduce designs into Plexus Manufacturing Solutions sites
Develop future Plexus leaders
