Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required; preferred)
  • Five (5) years of related experience (required; five or more years preferred)
  • Intermediate Computer Skills

  • General understanding and experience in at least one discipline (e.g. analog, digital, mechanical, software, PCB, test) of electronic product development

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle demanding schedules including travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

  • Support the customer development process in winning new business and develop repeat business with previous/current customers
  • Proactively identify work packages or opportunities for work-sharing and collaborate with Mgr - Engineering to promote inter-design center project staffing while balancing project, customer, and employee needs
  • Manage customers’ expectations regarding project challenges, scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and changes to the original proposal
  • Manage projects to successful financial execution with 100% conversion goal, utilizing Plexus business systems to project revenue for active projects and opportunities
  • Effectively manage team resources and lead the program to successful execution, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and third-party suppliers to introduce designs into Plexus Manufacturing Solutions sites
  • Develop future Plexus leaders
