Requirements

  • Experience leading planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects, including all phases from budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, to closeout
  • Ability to lead project teams (internal and external) throughout the project lifecycle, including reporting and achieving financial goals
  • Skills in client relationship management and ownership of assigned national accounts
  • Participation in staffing decisions with Office Leadership
  • Capability to actively participate in RFP responses, develop presentations, and lead pitches
  • Experience in business development, organizing client events, and fostering relationships with designers and clients
  • Proficiency in overseeing cost control, change management, forecasting, billing, receivables, and accurate reporting of secured revenue, pipeline, and backlog
  • Ability to develop, coach, and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Skills in bringing in new project leads and bid opportunities through client contacts and networking
  • Willingness to contribute to company growth via interviews, mentoring programs, and developing/leading training on best practices, technical skills, and human skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects across all phases
  • Take full responsibility for budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout
  • Lead project teams (internal and external), ensure reporting, and achieve project financial goals
  • Actively participate in RFP responses, develop presentations, and lead pitches
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management, including organizing events and assisting with budgets or existing condition reviews
  • Develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers through guidance, coaching, mentoring, and leading by example
  • Oversee cost control and change management, ensuring accurate tracking, monthly forecasting, timely billing/resolution, contractual compliance, and accurate reporting
  • Bring in new project leads and bid opportunities via client contacts and new relationships
  • Contribute to company growth through intern/candidate interviews, Mentoring Program participation, and developing/leading training classes
  • Participate in staffing decisions with Office Leadership
  • Supervise the overall success of the Project Team, mentor members, foster growth, handle performance/disciplinary issues with Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, and propose title/pay changes
