About the Role

This role requires an energetic, eager-to-learn, and flexible Program Manager capable of leading large-scale/complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment while appropriately tailoring processes for projects and teams.

As a Program Manager, you will support the Sensor Foundation Platform Group, including local team processes and sensor-impacting work streams. • Drive technical communication by understanding complex technical contexts, aligning them with business objectives, and delivering project outcomes, resources, and timelines.
  • Own and drive project scheduling, coordinate task assignments with development management, and manage schedule progress across large phases and detailed tasks, including internal and cross-Product Group dependencies.
  • Lead collaboration with staff and management across multiple worldwide business units (including subject matter experts, product management, design teams, and technology teams) to define project involvement, goals, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Proactively track project activity status, ensuring schedules and priorities are met.
  • Ensure critical issues are identified, tracked to resolution, and escalated as necessary.
  • Proactively manage daily/weekly project communication and status reporting.
  • Lead meetings and create/follow up on meeting minutes and action items.
  • Flexibly work across time zones to coordinate and follow up on work.
  • Willingness to travel both locally and internationally several times per quarter.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in project and program tooling (e.g., Jira, Gitlab).
  • 5+ years of experience in a program/project management capacity for software development.
  • Experience with or exposure to large-scale platforms (sensor technologies) and complex inter-dependent technologies.
  • Seasoned agile and team coach experienced in managing and alleviating persistent obstacles.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum.
