Requirements

  • 10+ years Program management experience for aerospace vehicle development from concept through fielding
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and major subcontracts
  • Strong understanding of earned value management, risk assessment, and configuration control
  • Strong background in systems engineering practices: requirements, verification, trade studies, interface control, and failure analysis
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
  • Located near Denver or Colorado Springs (hybrid with some on-site work required)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program, accountable for cost, schedule, and performance of the host vehicle development effort within the SBI program
  • Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and schedules to meet contractual and technical objectives
  • Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to ensure program execution and delivery
  • Lead risk management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication
