Requirements

10+ years Program management experience for aerospace vehicle development from concept through fielding
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and major subcontracts
Strong understanding of earned value management, risk assessment, and configuration control
Strong background in systems engineering practices: requirements, verification, trade studies, interface control, and failure analysis
Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
Located near Denver or Colorado Springs (hybrid with some on-site work required)

Responsibilities

Lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program, accountable for cost, schedule, and performance of the host vehicle development effort within the SBI program
Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and schedules to meet contractual and technical objectives
Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to ensure program execution and delivery
Lead risk management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication
