Extensive career experience in participation audits, particularly with global home entertainment companies, Hollywood studios, and independent producers
Thorough knowledge of clients and assigned studios
Complete knowledge of the firm's philosophy
Deep knowledge of the industry and technical matters
Familiarity with qualifications of all staff members
Ability to anticipate problem areas and questions in engagements

Responsibilities

Supervising engagements and special assignments, including reviewing working papers, reviewing reports, and communicating with clients and studios on a one-on-one basis
Managing all phases of the engagement
Maintaining contact with clients and studios throughout the year
Planning, scheduling, and staffing engagements using firm policies and procedures
Reviewing staff assignments for appropriateness
Preparing engagement letters for approval by partner
Evaluating work programs prepared by staff
Adhering to engagement time budgets
Supervising staff and providing on-the-job training
Reviewing work papers and reports prepared by staff
Keeping partner informed of all important developments, analyzing problems, and recommending solutions
Ensuring reports are prepared in accordance with firm standards
Communicating progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clients (and studios, if applicable)
Assisting in performance evaluations to develop responsible, trained staff
Preparing invoices to clients, communicating fee details, and assisting in collection of overdue accounts
Assisting in recruiting, developing training aids, and acting as an instructor in professional development programs
Participating in onboarding, training, and scheduling
Handling administrative, leadership, and marketing responsibilities
