Requirements

Broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies, and tools in Core & Edge (C&E) or Routing & Switching
Expertise in designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging systems, software, and solutions for Juniper Network Products
Ability to hold design and information-gathering workshops to understand customer's existing network design
Skills to identify, research, and resolve technical problems of diverse scope, evaluating identifiable factors and exercising judgment in methods
Experience assisting customers/partners in troubleshooting network design, architecture issues, and analyzing configurations
Ability to work internally with Juniper SE, Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams to relay and drive functionality requirements
Capability to act as a technical liaison between customer, resident engineers, and Juniper Technical Assistance Centre (TAC)
Experience testing, designing, and planning deployments of new products and features
Proficiency as a Technical Consultant for major network deployments and migrations, including high-level and low-level design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and acceptance
Flexibility for hybrid work (average 2 days/week in HPE office) and schedule to interface with global colleagues

Responsibilities

Provide post-sales support for Juniper Network Products in Core, Edge & Access, and Aggregation networks as a Resident Engineer
Develop and maintain expertise on products deployed or to be deployed in the customer’s network
Hold design and information-gathering workshops with the customer to understand existing network design
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, recommending alternatives where necessary
Assist customer/partner in troubleshooting network design, architecture issues, and analyzing network/device configurations
Work with Juniper SE and Engineering team to relay and drive customer-specific functionality requirements
Collaborate with resident engineers, customer, and Juniper TAC to optimize the network
Act as customer technical liaison for Juniper Networks support and development teams
Work closely with colleagues and customer personnel to test, design, and plan deployments of new products and features
Serve as Technical Consultant for major network deployments and migrations, delivering Professional Services milestones including design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and acceptance
Provide deployment guidance to ensure successful implementations
