Requirements

  • At least 2 years SQL experience with an emphasis on building queries, joining tables and running/creating stored procedures & SQL templates
  • Proficient working with technologies: AWS (S3, Step Functions, Lambda, Aurora RDS, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB), Python, REST APIs, Postman
  • At least 1 year of experience working with programming languages to build scripts/programs (Python, JavaScript, C# preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Result focused and proactive mindset with ability to build process and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues on various digital ordering channels such as Point-of-Sale, Kiosk, Web/Mobile, 3rd Party Delivery
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Middleware Infrastructure (AWS) using AWS Cloudwatch, Lumigo, and Aurora MySQL RDS
  • Construct and enhance internal tools and applications to bolster the Menu Middleware Platform using Retool and AWS Lambda
  • Work with Data Management and Menu QA/QE teams to support testing and launch of new Taco Bell menu items (Product changes, Limited Time Offerings, Market/Regional Item Tests)
  • Work with Data Management and L1/L2 IT Support Teams to resolve escalated tickets affecting Production
  • Work with Menu Middleware (MMW) Developers to support bi-weekly MMW releases by performing testing, validation, and assistance with phased release rollouts (Pilot/Market/National)
  • Follow Software Development Life Cycle and Taco Bell’s Change Management procedures (Agile)
  • Be available for rotational on call during Night and Weekend hours as needed for critical issues (1 week per month)
