Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering or related field and 5+ years of supervisory/management experience in food processing/manufacturing operations with solid progressive leadership experience (or 7+ years of such experience in lieu of degree)
Strong presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of understanding the drivers of product and labor cost variances
Previous experience working as a team leader in a multi-faceted team
Ability to strategically plan, organize, and manage a department with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety
Strong Microsoft Office suite and written communication skills

Responsibilities
Provide mentoring, coaching and train all production supervisors to develop effective and efficient teams
Collaborate with Plant Steering Team to focus on increasing employee and leadership engagement, developing KPIs and analyzing data, and implement short- and long-term strategies, including project leadership, efficiency, cost reduction and employee engagement
Handle information and documents professionally and confidentially
Meet at least weekly with Supervisors and Managers to review production KPIs
Analyze and report weekly and monthly KPI regarding the production capacity of the plant equipment, downtime (planned v unplanned), staffing levels, etc
Coordinate cross functional team to improve efficiencies of the plant based on findings
Partner with cross-functional leadership team to ensure and monitor proper operations support to meet or exceed annual scorecard and elevate and prioritize issues that need addressed
Maintain strong production floor presence
Communicate effectively, timely, and professionally with co-workers, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data reaches all audiences
Adapt well to changing priorities with a positive and professional demeanor
Create and enhance professional relationships with upstream and downstream key stakeholders to facilitate communication, collaboration, and problem solving
Maintain Plant Scorecard Dashboard
