Requirements

Full-time availability for 2nd shift (Monday - Friday; 2:00PM - 10:00PM) or D Shift (Every other Tuesday, Wednesday - Friday; 6:00PM - 6:00AM)
Ability to work under limited supervision
Exercise moderate discretion and independent judgment in developing, analyzing, and delivering simple to complex information
Experience providing immediate supervision to a unit or group of two or more employees, including assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules
Capability to complete performance appraisal recommendations and recommend job classifications

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage activities related to daily business needs, including direction and leadership, daily production workload, quality, cross training, skill development, and time off approvals/hours worked
Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced, and achieve department metrics
Conduct people leader activities, including approving time off, conducting performance appraisals, coaching, disciplinary action, and maintaining company policies and procedures
Communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns in written and oral form to employees, other shifts, and support staff (including supervisors and managers) to ensure customer expectations are met
Ensure individuals are trained to appropriate assembly build instructions and compliant with all applicable training requirements
