Responsibilities

  • Work with Beta’s ERP system to ensure part traceability, labor hour accuracy, and tooling accountability
  • Focus on team leadership, growth, training, and overall efficiency/cost improvements for the Structures group
  • Perform daily hands-on production assembly tasks
  • Refine manufacturing process layouts and continuously improve quality and throughput to align with business goals
  • Thread design changes from product development into existing build processes
  • Work closely with the Quality team to meet QMS standards and conduct RCCA for quality issues related to workmanship
  • Engage and develop relationships with supporting manufacturing teams (Design, MRB, QA, Leadership) for on-time delivery
  • Provide hands-on support for technicians to stay on task and increase productivity
  • Report on progress of aircraft build in area of responsibility
  • Perform in-process quality control inspections, identify process deviations, and participate in troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate and clear manufacturing documentation (Work Instructions, NCRs, etc.) compliant with quality systems
  • Perform regular inspection, cleaning, servicing, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Assist with tooling maintenance and repair procedures
  • Provide regular productivity reports and incident reports
  • Use mandated safety equipment and comply with safety requirements
  • Take lead role in 5S, tool control, and FOD activities
