Candidates should possess practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including familiarity with Windows internals and troubleshooting common system and application issues. Experience with macOS, including its directory structures and services, is also required, with knowledge of Terminal and Bash being a plus. Experience with tools such as ProcMon and Process Explorer, and experience in configuring antivirus products and troubleshooting interactions are also beneficial.
The Product Support Specialist will provide initial partner support and convey resolutions to customers, walking them through problem-solving processes. They will assess customer issues, escalate incidents as needed, and follow up with customers to ensure problems are resolved. The role requires utilizing excellent customer service skills, recommending changes to documentation, and continually growing knowledge of internal procedures, the Huntress product, and customer environments.
