  • Clinical/technical expertise: front-line support to surgeons/hospital staff before, during, after procedures
  • Trains/guides surgeons and staff on Mako robot (set-up, breakdown, intra-operative activities)
  • Uses proprietary software for pre-operative CT scans, implant planning/sizing/positioning
  • Troubleshoots/solves technical issues independently or escalates appropriately
  • Partners with Field Service team for issue resolution and maintenance
  • Builds knowledge of Stryker implants, instrumentation, and Mako robot applications
  • Educates on clinical benefits and best practices confidently
  • Completes Mako 101 and 201 training

Responsibilities

  • Grow Stryker's Joint Replacement business by promoting Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and optimizing customer service
  • Provide clinical product support to end users and guidance/assistance during Mako surgical procedures
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute required activities and customer support
  • Segment sales area, focus on expanding existing customers and supporting growing ones with Sales Team
  • Support/maintain existing customers for satisfaction/quality, collaborate with Sales Team and departments
  • Develop short/medium-term strategies with customers to secure/strengthen Stryker position
  • Communicate/negotiate with customers to ensure profitable/sustainable relationships
  • Observe market to strengthen position and analyze responsible area
  • Address customer challenges and develop solutions (with RSM/Sales Team support)
  • Participate in in-house meetings to discuss organizational, development, business issues and enhance knowledge/skills
  • Administer IT-based customer database/CRM tool
