Position Overview

Universal Music is seeking a passionate and dedicated Product Marketing Manager to join the Audiomovers team. This role will focus on launching and driving adoption of Audiomovers products, collaborating closely with product, sales, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar role, with sole responsibility over product positioning and overseeing the execution of all product collateral. This is a hands-on role within a small, fast-paced team.


Requirements

  • Experience: At least two years of experience in a product marketing role.
  • Product Positioning: Sole responsibility over product positioning.
  • Content Skills: Comfortable with carving accurate and on-brand copy.
  • User Persona Familiarity: Familiarity with user personas including:
    • Studio engineers
    • Live sound professionals
    • Composers
    • Sound designers
    • Producers
    • Music students

Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Redefine existing and future product positioning & messaging.
  • Content Creation: Develop various forms of content, including:
    • User guides
    • Internal product technical one-pagers
    • How-to videos
    • Blogs
    • Tutorials
  • Customer Communication: Develop and communicate customer use cases and case studies.
  • Audience Segmentation: Define and segment Audiomovers user personas.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance and track customer feedback.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitors’ activities.
  • Insight Gathering: Gather and synthesize insights from customers, sales teams, and forums.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the end-user.
