Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in product management, systems design, game design, or economy design in free-to-play games, or demonstrable expertise as a VIP gacha player with a deep understanding of mechanics and player psychology. Strong analytical skills to interpret player data and sentiment, a proven track record of designing, launching, and optimizing monetization systems, and excellent communication skills are required. Comfort working in a fast-moving, fully remote environment is also necessary. Experience with community-driven products, virtual worlds, or avatar-driven economies, along with a strong background in probability, statistics, or behavioral economics, is a plus.
The Product Manager will own the Highrise gacha system end-to-end, including mechanics, economy design, roadmap, and optimization. They will identify monetization opportunities and player friction by analyzing data and community sentiment. Responsibilities include designing and iterating on gacha mechanics such as drop rates, pity timers, event structures, and pricing to maximize revenue and retention while maintaining fairness. The role involves running fast experiments by shipping MVP changes, testing player response, measuring results, and iterating. They will balance player psychology and business goals to ensure the gacha system strengthens retention and loyalty. Collaboration with engineers, designers, economy experts, and community managers is essential, as is monitoring key metrics like ARPU, conversion %, retention, churn, NPS, and player sentiment.
