Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Technical Product Manager or similar role in enterprise data or infrastructure software
  • Proven experience with data streaming, observability, or distributed data systems (Kafka, Flink, Logstash, Splunk, Cribl, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of modern deployment architectures — cloud-native, hybrid, and containerized (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Experience with enterprise IT and security products, including integrations across complex ecosystems of data sources and destinations
  • Ability to translate technical performance and scalability concepts into clear product strategy and customer outcomes
  • Hands-on curiosity — you enjoy running your own labs, learning new technologies, and understanding how things actually work under the hood
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote-first environment
  • Able to demo and explain products both at a conceptual level and with technical depth

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Stream Data Plane roadmap — from core routing and pipeline performance to scale, resiliency, and observability of distributed systems
  • Deeply understand deployment models for Cribl Stream across cloud, hybrid, and customer-managed environments — including Kubernetes, containers, and on-prem orchestrations
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to define technical priorities around scalability, reliability, and performance tuning
  • Partner with UX and documentation to create intuitive, low-friction experiences for configuring and operating large-scale streaming environments
  • Engage with enterprise customers to understand their operational, security, and compliance needs across IT and SecOps ecosystems
  • Analyze usage and performance data to make data-driven decisions that improve reliability, reduce friction, and accelerate adoption
  • Evangelize internally and externally — translating complex data plane concepts into clear business value for Cribl customers and partners
