Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager building and shipping customer-facing products in a team environment, with at least 5 years working in an Agile setting. Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, identity management, endpoint management, cloud hosting, and security stacks is required. Experience in productizing IT services or internal tools within a consulting or managed services context, along with an understanding of ITIL or service management best practices, is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in performing discovery and aggregating, organizing, analyzing, and prioritizing data, coupled with the ability to develop cross-functional influence without authority and a capacity for self-reflection and improvement.
The Product Manager will formalize repeatable solutions into standardized offerings, collaborate with teams to evolve Pliancy’s managed IT platform, and assess, select, and integrate third-party IT tools. Responsibilities include monitoring and improving deployed IT solutions throughout their lifecycle, ensuring internal teams have the necessary documentation and training, and conducting continuous discovery with clients and consultants. The role involves creating systems for data collection, aggregation, analysis, and prioritization to inform platform and tooling improvements. Additionally, the Product Manager will collaborate on refining the product vision and strategy, becoming knowledgeable about the IT market, working closely with the Engineering Team using agile methodologies, and designing and executing pricing strategies. The position also requires developing and maintaining product roadmaps, assisting with QA, and fully documenting products, systems, launches, features, and processes.
