Requirements

Candidates should have experience as a generalist engineer, with a strong desire to learn and work across different technology stacks. Experience with high throughput, high growth SaaS applications and geospatial infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, Python, Scala, MongoDB, S3/Athena, Redis, Airflow, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Backend Product Engineer will extend the core Radar platform, working on features across the backend API layer and offline pipelines. Responsibilities include handling 1 billion API calls per day, engaging with customers and prospects to gather feedback, incorporating feedback into product development, and ensuring customer success. Engineers are expected to ship significant features weekly and participate in the on-call rotation.
