Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of software development experience as an individual contributor, strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems. They must write high-quality, well-tested code, uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design, and possess a startup mindset with resourcefulness and adaptability. The ability to work effectively remotely and overlap with core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT is also required. Prior experience building 0 to 1 products and engineering systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

The Product Engineer will collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities, define user experiences, and drive product direction. They will work full-stack to own features end-to-end, from exploration and prototyping to implementation and iteration. Responsibilities include building scalable, high-quality systems, solving complex technical challenges, and continuously improving the codebase, infrastructure, and development practices. The role also involves contributing to technical leadership by driving architectural decisions, shaping engineering standards, and participating in the hiring process.
