Requirements

3-6 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor
Full stack development experience with modern web technologies
Experience writing tests that validate functionality
Some level of understanding of test driven development
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and programming languages
Experience working independently and taking ownership of features
Strong communication skills
Ability to collaborate clearly with non-engineering partners
Problem-solving mindset with willingness to experiment and iterate quickly
Experience with Java/Kotlin, TypeScript/React, and SQL

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product to define, prototype, and ship features from concept to production
Translate user feedback and metrics into continuous product improvements
Build and maintain full-stack features across TypeScript/React frontend and Kotlin backend
Design and implement AI integrations that reduce administrative complexity for healthcare providers
Write comprehensive tests that ensure healthcare solutions are reliable and robust
Continuously refactor the codebase to keep code clear, reduce bugs, and increase velocity
Take ownership of significant features and see them through from conception to deployment
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to architect solutions that scale with the growing user base
Learn and adapt quickly as the company explores new technologies and approaches
