Requirements

Passionate about crafting seamless user experiences and beautiful interfaces
Experience building, shipping, and iterating on real products (not just mockups)
Ability to collaborate closely with Growth, Brand & Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
Exceptional generalist skills across UX, UI, and other sub-disciplines (no rigid silos)
Proficient in full spectrum of product design: information architecture, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, visual design, interaction patterns
Eye for pixel perfection and real-world usability
Comfortable with significant ownership in a small, growing design team
Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, high-performance environment (focused, relentless, top 1% mindset)

Responsibilities

Shape the Eight Sleep website to drive engaging, intuitive, seamless experiences for users to discover and purchase a Pod
Lead creation of e-commerce experience at intersection of Growth and Product to drive brand positioning and revenue growth
Handle full spectrum of product design: information architecture, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and everything in-between
Support customer discovery team in conducting usability studies and user interviews to inform design work
Use qualitative and quantitative data to validate success or failure of designs
Iterate on designs based on data and user feedback
Ensure high-quality, data-driven designs balancing aesthetics with usability
Equip users with resources for informed purchase decisions
