Requirements

Highly experienced in product design, particularly Staff level
Passionate about shaping products and delivering delightful customer experiences
Expertise in Web3 design, including decentralized services, DApps, protocols, smart contracts, governance models, and token economics
Ability to translate complex Web3 concepts into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences
Strong collaboration skills with engineering and protocol teams, understanding technical constraints and opportunities of blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2s)
Experience designing for immutability, high-security interfaces (e.g., wallets, staking), and self-custody
Proficiency in rapid prototyping, testing, and delivering solutions for Web3 flows (e.g., wallet connection, transaction signing, gas fees, seed phrase security)
Ability to work in ambiguous environments with moving regulatory targets
Mentoring and leadership skills for Product Designers, including design critique on crypto UX best practices

Responsibilities

Lead Web3 Design Initiatives: Define, own, and deliver end-to-end design for core decentralized services, DApps, and protocols
Collaborate Across the Chain: Work closely with engineering and protocol teams to understand blockchain constraints and opportunities
Advocate for Decentralized Design Systems: Champion flexible yet robust design systems for high-security Web3 interfaces
Prototype with Precision & Speed: Rapidly design, prototype, and test features to reduce friction in Web3 flows
Mentor and Grow the Guild: Mentor Product Designers on decentralization challenges, security, education, and self-custody; lead design critiques on crypto UX best practices
Make it feel native: Design crypto experiences to feel intuitive and native
