About Doola

Doola is a dynamic company committed to simplifying the complexities of business formation, payment setup, compliance, taxes, and more. We empower entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes to navigate the intricate landscape of financial and regulatory requirements with ease, allowing them to focus on what truly matters - building and growing their ventures.

About the Role

A magical user experience isn’t just a bonus, it’s central to everything we build. We’re looking for a passionate and curious Product Designer to help us craft intuitive, engaging, and impactful experiences within our core platform.

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to improve the dashboard our users rely on every day, from managing bookkeeping and tax services to navigating complex financial workflows. Your job is to make those experiences feel simple, clear, and even delightful. If you’re excited to tackle real user problems and have an outsized impact at an early-stage startup, this is your chance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience
  • Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production
  • Design clean, elegant web interfaces that are simple and intuitive
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to turn ideas into seamless user flows
  • Maintain and expand our Design System for consistency and efficiency
  • Report to the Head of Design while owning key areas of the product
  • Balance speed and quality to deliver high-impact work efficiently

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer
  • Strong UX thinking, visual design skills, and clear written communication
  • Deeply user-focused, you design with empathy and clarity
  • Problem-solver who takes initiative and drives projects to completion
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative by nature
  • Fluent in Figma (components, auto layout, design systems, etc.)
  • Genuine interest in our mission and the impact we’re creating

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience working at startups or within small, fast-moving cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of front-end development. You don’t need to code, but knowing how code works helps you design smarter, more feasible interfaces.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the industry.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development.
  • Competitive compensation package with insane opportunity for growth.

Our Values and Non-Values

Establishing team values is critical. We believe it’s equally essential to identify team non-values. We’re stronger in driving our mission home with both values and non-values taken into account. Note: Our goal in sharing these up front and transparently is to be as straightforward with people as possible. Our goal is not to be combative in our language; it’s to be straightforward.

Action Item: If you read these values and non-values and get more fired up about working at doola, lets talk.

If you are passionate about helping businesses succeed and thrive, and you possess the skills and experience outlined above, we want to hear from you. Join us at doola and be part of a team dedicated to simplifying the path to business success.

Doola is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
