Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10+ years of experience shipping impactful product design in complex domains, with bonus points for AI experience. A proven track record of leading significant design initiatives from concept to launch, demonstrating measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes, is required. Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills are necessary, along with a highly collaborative spirit and a low ego. Experience with AI/ML products, consumer mobile, and enterprise product experience is ideal. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

The Product Designer will shape the product experience at Abridge, setting a high bar for taste, clarity, and strategic thinking across initiatives that directly impact clinicians, patients, and care teams. Responsibilities include collaborating deeply with cross-functional partners, immersing oneself in the complexity of clinical workflows, and bringing structure and empathy to ambiguous problems. The role involves simplifying complex clinical workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences, pushing the boundaries of visual and interaction design, and leading end-to-end design execution from concept to high-fidelity designs and prototypes. The designer will also champion user-centered design by engaging in user research, synthesizing insights, and advocating for users' needs and pain points.
