Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a product analytics team is required, along with hands-on experience in at least one modern BI tool, preferably Looker. Proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Heap, or Amplitude is essential, as is solid experience with Data Modeling using DBT. Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication skills and experience dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority, are also necessary. Experience with Snowflake and LookML is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Product Data Analyst will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Operations, and Development teams to generate actionable insights. They will monitor product and feature release performance, define baselines and success metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization. The role involves developing and applying extensive domain knowledge in dedicated product areas to proactively derive meaningful recommendations and insights that inform product strategy. Responsibilities also include analyzing market data, identifying customer behavior and trends, helping design and evaluate A/B tests to improve customer journeys, and creating/promoting effective self-service analytics infrastructure. The analyst will develop user-friendly dashboards and high-quality data visualizations to drive actions and support decision-making, explore large and complex datasets, and build data models in dbt with the support of Analytics Engineers. Additionally, they will make intelligent technology adoption choices based on extensive experience and contribute to the development of fellow product analysts through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
