Physical ability to sort, display, remove, replenish, inspect, rotate, store, and dispose of produce, including handling heavy cases and maintaining displays
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to Members in the produce department, answer questions, recommend products and safe handling tips, and assist with finding products throughout the club
Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery, ensuring it meets or exceeds company produce standards
Rotate produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety, fully stock cases and display areas, keep displays neat and clean, and remove unsuitable products
Maintain the produce reserve stock area by dating and rotating back stock items, ensuring the storage area is organized and condensed daily
Follow established guidelines when disposing of damaged, spoiled, and/or expired products
Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed
Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, display fixtures, areas, produce cooler, and refrigerated display cases
Generate signage for produce goods
Maintain the overall environment of the department through product knowledge and customer service, ensuring all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards
Deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand Opening Look, stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining visible accurate signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
