Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) from an accredited university. Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or engineering roles within a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI)
Global mindset: Experience working with global suppliers and understanding international supply chain dynamics

Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of sourcing strategies for NPI programs within the MR modality, identifying and selecting preferred suppliers globally
Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Quality teams, early involving suppliers to influence design decisions for optimal manufacturability, cost, and supply chain robustness
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers and technologies that align with NPI requirements. Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk throughout the product lifecycle
Lead cost analysis initiatives, negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, and implement cost reduction strategies for new products
Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks associated with new product introductions, including capacity constraints, quality issues, and geopolitical factors
Provide technical guidance and expertise to suppliers and internal teams on material specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI sourcing process, leveraging best practices and lean methodologies
Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to GE Precision Healthcare's quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices
