Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent
3+ years in supply chain and procurement
Experience in procurement and negotiation strategies
Ability to understand and function effectively in a team environment
Proven track record of success in leadership positions
Restaurant / Food Service experience

Responsibilities

Enables brands to efficiently and effectively maximize the value they receive from suppliers
Conducts sourcing events as required for the categories within the scope of responsibility, selecting the best choice for Inspire
Ensures all legal documents are in place for each supplier, including NDA, Master Supplier Agreement, and Product Agreements
Conducts the RFP process, bid analysis and review, contract negotiations, and blanket purchase agreement creation
Develops/executes purchasing strategies for products including monitoring macro trends in supplier base, implementing plans to react
Identifies and realizes cost-savings and cost-reduction opportunities
Ensures the supply chain has adequate production capacity to meet the needs of the business in compliance on spec and at competitive costs
Develops ideas for cost savings initiatives within owned categories
Evaluates potential margin initiatives, documents with business case and champions change in support of department/company initiatives
Minimizes risk of supply disruption
Identifies supply and supplier issues, analyzes information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities, and associated risk
Builds strategic relationships: understands Brands' needs and builds supplier relationships to meet those needs; builds collaborative relationships with Brand Functional Team / Managers
Monitors purchasing performance: monitors supplier performance and completes supplier scorecard
Participates in S&OP process and coordinates supplier's production to meet demand
Other duties as assigned by management
