Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate a collaborative and proactive attitude within a team-driven environment. Strong organizational skills for documenting processes and results are required. A college degree in Math, Biology, or Chemistry, a post-secondary certificate in agriculture, natural resources, or precision production, and prior experience in maintenance or a laboratory setting are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Process Technician will operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, adjusting parameters to maintain optimal production conditions. They will conduct quality assurance tests, perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery, and diagnose and repair equipment issues. Responsibilities also include adhering to safety protocols and SOPs, maintaining accurate operational data logs, supporting pilot runs and scale-up activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements and new product development. The role also involves ensuring food safety and reporting unsafe conditions.
