Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management or related experience, with at least 4+ years focused on data platform, infrastructure, or enterprise data products
  • Deep familiarity with the modern data stack, such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures and platforms (without needing to be an engineer)
  • Passion for scalable product thinking
  • Strong track record of hands-on product execution

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GoodLeap’s enterprise data platform — aligning priorities across data engineering, analytics, business, and governance stakeholders
  • Champion the concept of Data as a Product, promoting reusable, well-documented, and discoverable data assets with clear ownership and lifecycle management
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to support scalable, modern data infrastructure — while owning product strategy, user requirements, and success metrics
  • Drive key platform initiatives such as data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, data modeling and transformation, and real-time access, using tools like Databricks, Fivetran, and Spark
  • Define and manage the product strategy for data governance and compliance capabilities — supporting regulatory requirements like PCI, CCPA, and FCRA
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of data cataloging and metadata solutions (e.g., Unity Catalog, Altan) to improve data discoverability, lineage, and documentation across domains
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Ops) to ensure the data platform supports their evolving needs with high trust and transparency
  • Create detailed product requirement documents, user stories, and technical specifications for integrations, data onboarding, and data product initiatives
  • Monitor platform usage, establish SLAs, and define success metrics to drive adoption and continuous improvement
  • Promote a culture of data stewardship and cross-functional ownership to improve data quality, usability, and reliability
