Demonstrated expertise in Figma, robust prototyping abilities, and a track record of conducting user research and usability testing are essential. The role requires the ability to make thoughtful trade-offs, implement designs swiftly without sacrificing quality, and possess strong communication and presentation skills. Experience designing for video streaming technologies and platforms is also required.
The Principal Product Designer will create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions. They will employ visual systems to ensure design harmony within the broader product ecosystem. This role involves leading the entire design process for multiple concurrent projects from inception to launch, acting as the sole designer for the team. Responsibilities include crafting an engaging product vision with the product team head, establishing design principles, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to transform business and user requirements into product designs.
