Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have at least five years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with a minimum of two years in a senior technical or architect role. Strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SPM, HRSD, and others, is required, along with proficiency in scripting using JavaScript and the Glide API. Experience with platform governance, performance tuning, and security best practices is also essential.

Responsibilities

The Principal Platform Architect will be responsible for designing and governing the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions. This includes designing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across various modules, defining and maintaining the platform’s technical architecture roadmap, leading platform governance, and collaborating with business units to translate business needs into technical solutions. The role also involves providing architectural guidance, presenting platform strategy, evaluating new capabilities, and contributing to platform innovation through identifying opportunities for improvement and automation. Furthermore, the architect will serve as a subject matter expert, support the development of reusable solutions, and participate in vendor evaluations and roadmap planning.
