The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background, expert-level skills in Linux administration including system hardening, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, and advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, are required. Experience with security tooling such as Wiz is also necessary.
This role involves acting as the lead technical authority for AWS infrastructure, architecting and designing secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Responsibilities include driving the implementation of infrastructure-as-code, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing and maintaining solutions for centralized operating system management, and taking ownership of the vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification and remediation.
