Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience working on cloud and infrastructure initiatives
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, etc.)
Expert-level experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
Solid experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
Experience integrating IaC and automation into CI/CD workflows
Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud cost management
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategies

Responsibilities

Design and implement highly available, event-driven serverless solutions using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, EventBridge)
Design and implement highly available, container-based solutions using ECS/EKS
Architect scalable and secure cloud-native applications and platforms using modern design patterns
Collaborate with software development and product teams to align serverless infrastructure with application needs
Build and manage reusable Terraform modules for provisioning serverless and supporting AWS resources
Automate serverless application deployments using Ansible for configuration tasks where needed (e.g., IAM roles, secrets, monitoring)
Integrate IaC pipelines into CI/CD tools to enable rapid, repeatable, and reliable deployments
Implement IAM policies, resource permissions, and least-privilege access for serverless resources
Ensure compliance with security standards, automate audit and monitoring frameworks, and manage secure key handling and secrets storage
Monitor and optimize performance and cost of serverless workloads (e.g., Lambda execution time, API Gateway throttling, DynamoDB capacity)
Use tools like AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, Splunk, and CloudTrail to trace and improve system reliability and efficiency
Serve as a technical advisor and mentor to other engineers
Establish engineering best practices for serverless development, IaC, and automation
Drive adoption of cloud-native design principles across teams
