Requirements

Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with configuration management tools
Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with two or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, VBScript, C#, .NET, Perl, Python, Objective C, Gerkin
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall software development methods
Familiarity with REST Server and REST interfaces
Experience with optimizing code quality through use of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices (inferred from truncated description)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategy, plans and procedures for product development, production and integration
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers
Read, analyze, understand product requirements, support requirements reviews
Collaborate with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside of the team to ensure products are designed for testability, optimizing for cost-effectiveness
Design and execute tests using automated test tools, as well as Manual test development process, for the verification of software requirements
Work in an evolving, maturing Agile environment as part of a scrum team. Consult with scrum masters, product owners and developers
Assist scrum team with debugging and solving issues discovered during testing
Effectively work with individuals from various engineering disciplines in a variety of locations, supporting test infrastructure set up and test tool development; such as test tools, stubs, Hardware/Firmware simulators and emulators
Establish and maintain traceability from software requirements to verification test design and implementation
Participate in the technical reviews of software requirements and peer verification test development
Take the high level requirements and independently complete test development per the defined processes
Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
Responsible for testing the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software
Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software for Mobile, Web and iOS development
Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements, enables complex digital workflows, fully meets multi-level requirements, and smoothly functions after introduced changes
Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements
Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future modules
Ensures the quality of our customers’ complex enterprise apps and entire software ecosystems
