Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Manual Test Engineering
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Aqua and Jira
  • Proven background in manual testing of web-based applications, covering both front-end and back-end functionalities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and Define Requirements: Work closely with product managers, software engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and provide input on user stories and testing task estimates
  • Streamline Test Documentation and Test Case Management: Create, organize, and manage test cases in a dedicated test management tool to ensure comprehensive coverage, traceability, and alignment with project objectives
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans, including various testing types such as System, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, and API testing
  • Defect Analysis and Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis on defects, collaborate with development teams for swift resolution and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create test reports, release notes, and manage UAT activities to support various stages of the QA process
