Responsibilities

The Principal Data Engineer will lead the design, creation, and maintenance of business intelligence assets and reports that drive innovation, client value, and business efficiency. This role involves architecting, maintaining, and implementing data synchronization efforts across numerous on-premises and cloud systems. Responsibilities include leading the maintenance and enhancement of existing reporting and BI solutions, architecting and developing complex reporting stored procedures, and overseeing ELT development and pipeline automation. The engineer will drive and execute the migration of legacy reporting technologies to cloud platforms like Snowflake, champion best practices in data engineering, and provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. They will also lead and participate in Agile team efforts, analyze data to identify business opportunities, and develop data solutions to a high standard of performance and accuracy.
