Responsibilities

  • Architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes in combination with necessary third-party components (e.g., software and integration)
  • Developing and articulating compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals
  • Ensuring customer’s business and technical requirements are met
  • Providing technical expertise to sales teams and customers through sales presentations, product/solution demonstrations, etc., to gain customer mindshare
  • Developing compelling customer proposals and critically reviewing them
  • Managing expectations of internal stakeholders and customers
  • Quantifying the impact of business problem(s), positioning business value, and identifying strengths and weaknesses of proposed solutions to achieve long-term business objectives
  • Providing input to global business units to address IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs
  • Translating outcome-based solutions into functional solution designs aligned to customer business needs, and then into scalable technical designs and architectures
  • Communicating how solution value propositions address customer business needs
  • Contributing to industry development through conferences (content support/presentations, demos, booth support) and industry events, while monitoring social media
  • Incorporating understanding of technology trends
  • Actively gathering and applying competitive intelligence as a critical component of account support
  • Driving the Account Business Planning process, leveraging knowledge of industry trends and customer’s technical environment
  • Participating in deep-dive discussions and partnering with account teams to build customer relationships at all levels by advocating and presenting technical strategies for customer transformation
  • Producing in-depth comparative analysis of alternative approaches to meet solution requirements
  • Developing, configuring, and right-sizing optimal workload solutions, balancing cost, scope, and performance
