Requirements

  • PhD (Post-Doctoral position)
  • Expertise in scientific principles for manufacturing intermediates and bulk drug substances, including chemistry-equipment interactions
  • Understanding of chemistry and stability of synthetic and biomolecules and associated analytical tools
  • Ability to develop laboratory-scale models and methods for key process steps in reactions and purification of peptides and biomolecules
  • Knowledge of scale-up requirements and ability to partner with manufacturing plants for scale-up and investigative work
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements
