Candidates should possess a technical education such as a Bac Pro or BTS in electrotechnics, mechanics, agricultural mechanics, or industrial systems maintenance. Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance is required, along with a valid driver's license (Class B) and a Class C driver's license is a plus. The role requires the ability to work independently as a traveling technician.
The Plant & Vehicle Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the entire vehicle fleet, including diagnostics, various repairs, and replacement of spare parts. Responsibilities include researching electrical and mechanical diagrams, performing on-site adjustments and checks according to standards, and collaborating on system improvement projects. The technician must ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents, accidents, and near misses, adhering to JIG, WFS, and HSSE standards. This includes conducting regular inspections of operations, ensuring asset management aligns with WFS and regulatory standards, and performing diagnostics, repairs, and inspections of vehicles and refueling equipment, including pressure controllers, hose testing, filter changes, and hydraulic system checks and repairs.
