2-years of technical experience in manufacturing or a similar industry
Applied mechanical skills in an industrial environment
Knowledge of various types of machinery and equipment commonly used in manufacturing, including engines, pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, gears, bearings, and other mechanical components
Proficiency in using a wide range of tools and instruments (hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, precision instruments)
Understanding of how various components interact within a larger system, including control mechanisms, automation, and interconnections with electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, and root cause analysis skills
Interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to rotate shifts (on a 2-2-3 rapid rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed making, packing, process, and other machinery and equipment
Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
Troubleshooting, monitoring, and improving equipment and systems
Analyzing trends and technical data to gain insights on equipment and systems, and identify issues proactively
Building technical skills in others
Enabling production throughput and reducing equipment downtime
Troubleshooting issues and eliminating defects
