Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related technical field, along with 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and 5-7 years of experience directing and coaching a large team. They should have expertise in designing and improving manufacturing processes, familiarity with industry standards, equipment, technical expertise, and regulations, and experience making measurable improvements using lean tools. Additionally, candidates are expected to have plant management competencies including budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, cost controls, and leadership development, and the ability to operate in all stages of a plant operations with limited direction.

Responsibilities

The Plant Manager will direct and manage all plant operations, ensuring accountability for safety, production, maintenance, quality, cost control, and all production-related activities. They will drive forward-thinking continuous improvement and optimization of all processes within the plant, commit to a relentless focus on safety, provide leadership for day-to-day operations to deliver the best possible product, increase production and asset capacity while minimizing costs, develop and maintain plant culture aligned with Ruggable's values, collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvement, identify cost savings opportunities, implement preventative maintenance programs, provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals, and provide direction and development to the Plant Management Team.
