Requirements
Extensive Supply Chain technical and industry-specific expertise with full knowledge of related disciplines
Strong knowledge and practical experience in utilizing analytical tools, spreadsheets, and databases for strategic planning and communication
Proven ability to work in a team environment to meet short- and long-term objectives
Ability to conceptualize, analyze, and implement new methodologies to improve customer service, inventory management, and business alignment
Demonstrated ability to function and influence in a team matrix environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of Right First Time and Lean Manufacturing concepts and principles (preferred)
Ability to work independently with minimal direction, interpret policies and procedures, and recommend changes to operating policies

Responsibilities
Develop and implement long-term and short-term Value Stream Supply Chain strategies aligning capacity, supplier, process issues, and Demand Planning signals
Collaborate with Value Stream Buyers and team members to achieve Value Stream Goals and Objectives, highlighting opportunities and options during conflicts
Manage inventory carrying costs (Raw/Packaging Materials, API WIP, and Finished Goods) to corporate and site budget targets while satisfying customer demand with minimal over-supply and back orders
Initiate and lead Value Stream Supply Planning initiatives and strategies to achieve corporate production planning adherence metric expectations
Execute Purchase Orders to schedule supply of materials to meet production requirements and minimum inventory levels; manage orders and deliveries day-to-day
Assess minimum order quantities against planning assumptions; understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedules
Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials; support Inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy; minimize obsolete stock
Manage the financial impact of Value Stream Supply Chain activities in relation to Site objectives and goals; participate in Budget activities and monthly absorption forecasts
Initiate and lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects; monitor Value Stream key metrics and identify opportunities for cost and process improvements
Serve as a key member of product launch teams; initiate SAP material set up and process flow while meeting project milestones and timelines
Author and review Standard Operating Procedures as required; serve as a key audit contact and participate in audits regularly
Comply with all regulatory guidelines, documentation requirements, and GMP’s
Utilize Operational Excellence Methodologies to identify and improve product supply, inventory management, resource utilization, and planning tools
Guide successful completion of major programs, potentially in a team or project leadership role; contribute to team, plant, and global goals; ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
Motivate others, generate commitment, and empower team members
