Requirements

  • Expertise in establishing formal Impella programs through sustainable relationships with account stakeholders
  • Knowledge of hospital market dynamics, operational efficiency, patient care gaps, and health economics
  • Skills in presenting complex health economic information to diverse, influential groups in an engaging, credible manner
  • Capability to act as a field liaison connecting hospitals to internal resources (e.g., medical office, research, marketing, executive teams)
  • Willingness to work in a field-based role across locations such as Danvers, MA; Hackensack, NJ; Newark, NJ (or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive KOL engagement strategy aligned with brand and therapeutic area objectives
  • Develop sustainable relationships with designated accounts, health systems, key opinion leaders, and stakeholders to formalize Impella programs and optimize outcomes
  • Understand hospital market dynamics, uncover gaps in operational efficiency and patient care, and deploy appropriate tools to reach more patients
  • Present complex health economic information to influential and diverse groups in an engaging, credible, and easily understood way
  • Advocate for heart recovery programs to health system administration and engage hospital administrators to gain alignment on projects
  • Collaborate with hospitals and administrators to identify program efficiencies through best practice implementation, protocol development, and workflow improvement for long-term sustainability
  • Identify program gaps and align internal resources to support hospital goals
  • Collaborate with systems of care and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to implement best practices across hospitals
  • Identify and develop new and emerging key opinion leaders
