Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Physician Associate program with an executed Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic
  • Eligible for clinical rotation as verified by program faculty
  • PA students eligible only in states where MinuteClinic hires PAs: CT, DC, GA, IL, MD, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, OH, RI, SC, TN, TX
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least one shot prior to first day, with proof required, or approved reasonable accommodation)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinical rotations in ambulatory care settings at MinuteClinic
  • Complete specialized online training
  • Engage in patient interaction and use of EMR
  • Gain practical education in clinic operations, public relations, marketing, insurance procedures, and evidence-based guidelines
  • Develop understanding of clinic integration into health care delivery and corporate support structures
